Access to Meta Fields in Profile

  • I have added post meta fields (_line1, _line2, _city, _state, _zip) to the user profile. Don’t remember which plugin I used to do this with, but for some reason only I as admin can view them, Contributors and Subscribers do not see the address fields in their profile.

    Worked myself in a corner here. Any suggestions?

    If you’re using a custom fields plugin for this, it is most probably modifying the permissions for each group. Check out which plugin you’re using and open its settings page there should be a permissions tab for that somewhere.

    I found out the issue, I am using the Members List plugin that automatically adds the Location Meta fields to the User Profile/Admin. But currently they are not accessible via other roles. have contacted the Members List forum & developer for a solution.
