I see this is a known error ……cannot sort it out!

Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.

Noticed when I delete and reinstalled plugin settings and backups still stayed behind and where not deleted after deleting….Therefore fresh start doesn’t help issue either…

OK did wipe settings and was able to reauthorize dropbox. How to avoid this to happen again when site is in maintenance mode? I stop scheduled backups and set to manual will this help?

    Hi Vinny,

The message itself can, unfortunately, have lots of causes. There are lots of reasons why Google may de-authorise an access token. 11 of them listed here – https://blog.timekit.io/google-oauth-invalid-grant-nightmare-and-how-to-fix-it-9f4efaf1da35- don’t bother about all the technical content, that’s not why I’m sending it; just in case any of the reasons listed apply (e.g. resetting your Google account password). Unfortunately, Google’s interface isn’t always very helpful in terms of finding out which reason applied (and sometimes totally unhelpful).

    David
