Access/edit/upload child theme files using File Manager plugin

  • Hi!
    I created a child theme using Childify Me plugin. As the guide says, I’d like to add some php files that will override original theme files.
    I’m using an online wordpress web site and I don’t have FTP access.
    Now, I see that there are some File Manger plugins but where can I find the directory into Child theme files are stored?

  • Hi matteopzz. Welcome to the Hueman Forum. The child theme files are located in the /wp-content/themes/ child theme folder. The child theme folder has the same name that you gave your child theme when you created it.

    I don’t have FTP access.

    Does you host offer cPanel or Plesk? They both have File Managers you can use to access your WP installation files.
