    Hello,

This is an organization of visually disabled people who work for government.
They are using the website, creating/editing the posts/pages themselves. Now after the latest update they have complained that drafting is very confusing with the dashboard.

Kindly improve the accessibility and help the visually disabled people.

    Regards,
    Sumitra.

Thank you for your suggestion. The new block editor does indeed have accessibility issues that need improvement. While the new editor introduces some useful features, I can easily imagine how confusing it must be to a screen reader user. I think you should seriously consider installing the Classic Editor plugin which restores the previous editor most are probably familiar with.

As the new editor’s accessibility issues improve, you can reconsider migrating to the block editor sometime in the future.

    Confusing.
    Lacking WCAG tools (as abbreviations).
Lacking editor tools as Character map.
According to the author here not even finished.

But in the end it’s standard installed with WordPress and it’s not even possible to simply change the editor back to the old one.

    WHY???
