Accessible and simple to navigate

The free version lacks basic features like the edit button within posts and pages. A footer widget area would also be considered a basic feature. When using tablets and smartphones it sometimes gets confused between whether to present the desktop or mobile version. With some pages loading in one format and others in another. I am trying to understand the cause. Also considering the Pro plugin if it allows me to alter padding around the header image and alter fonts and colour schemes.
