• Hello,

I posted a similar question elsewhere but now can be more specific. Hopefully someone can share their knowledge.

I have two wordpress installs on the same server accessing the same database through to different table prefixes. One is the main install on the several and the other is a sandbox at the moment, but as the site/needs develop I can see the benefit of maintaining two installations.

The main install uses the default wp_ prefix. The second install install uses the prefix wd2_. I’m reorganizing content and developing some pretty extensive improvements to the site. I would like to pull some data from the wp_ tables into the sandbox (wd2_) install. Eventually wd2_ will become the main install. I know this can be done by manipulating the database, but at the moment I would like a simple solution to display wp_ posts at the wd2_ install without disturbing the wp_ tables or duplicating data.

I found some pretty cool plugins that kind of do what I want to do, but nothing on point. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
