• Hey guys,

I’m currently working on a plugin that will manage a number of employees. The final user of the blog will be able to access a page in the admin area (already created) that will display a list of employess they have added with details including an image.

Am I able to access the media library from a plugin for ease of access to images, or am I able to upload images via a plugin? Either solution will work for me. I’m storing all the data in a new db table and am wondering how the image will be stored (this will obviously depend on the solution to adding an image).

There is no access to this online, and it’s the admin area not front end so wouldn’t be comfortable opening up the admin panel. Though this seems like something that either can or cannot be done.

Hope that was explained well enough.

    Many Thanks,
    Gareth

This is my first post, and I was unable to find any “forum rules” so I’m unaware of any rules to do with “bumping” a post.

If this is frowned upon I apologise and please let me know (it doesn’t have to happen again).

    Cheers,
    Gareth

EDIT: I found the rules, many apologise for the bump, it wont happen again.

I know this is a little late. However, for every else that has to do this, you can get access to the media library using information from this link: https://warriormill.com/2009/05/wordpress-getting-access-to-the-media-library/
Hopefully that will be of help to someone.
