Accessing Polylang Language Variable on Post Page

Hey guys, I’m developing a multi-language site similar to everyone using this plugin basically. However, my blog page has author’s as the face of the website and they’re the ones who are being represented as the authors while someone else may be doing the actual writing of the posts. Therefore, I created my custom post type using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and I have a loop working to show these authors on the home page (index.php). However, on this page I want to only show the author is they have a post that is in the current language. I’m currently trying to find a way to access the variable that is set in the GUI when making a post in the top right of the page (Language dropdown menu). On the home page I want to loop through all posts by this author and have a flag variable and set it to true if they have a post in the current language. My 2 languages are FR and EN.
