Accidentally Deleted My Site! Need Help Restoring

Had some minor problems with links and found out that i had 2 installs… Was told by GoDaddy support to back up the files and delete everything and do a new install and just replace the contents file. They didn’t tell me to back up the database… In fact he told me to delete it. 6 months of blog gone. I have the files on my hard drive ….But I don’t know how to integrate them into a new install. No… I didn’t do an export from dashboard. I don’t know much about html. Does anyone know how i can get my stuff back on line?
