Accidentally Hit "Remove WordPress" in Fantastico FATEL ERROR

    So by complete accident I hit the link “Remove WordPress” in Fantastico. Now I realized I hit link, however I never confirmed the deletion of WordPress. And now Im gettin this error,

    Warning: require(/home/tim*******/public_html/couponcenter.org/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/tim******/public_html/couponcenter.org/wp-settings.php on line 21

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/tim******/public_html/couponcenter.org/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/tim******/public_html/couponcenter.org/wp-settings.php on line 21

    Has this happened to anyone else, any solution? Im using the most current version of WordPress and hosted on Hostgator.

  • It seems you have deleted everything. Do you have a backup of your site?

    Really, because I still have my database..I can see all of my posts in there. Over in file manager all of wordpress settings are still there as well.

    Good. If you have your database, and if you can see all your files there in the File Manager, I suggest you use the CHAT service at Hostgator. They may be able to set things right faster. If you still face problems, you may report back here. I give this suggestion because, maybe because of something on the server, whatever tools I use cannot get the details as usual.

    Done and Done! I contacted Hostgator, they replied back saying that it a was Permissions issue. They went into the site and changed it.

    My first thought was just that, but wasnt too sure how to go about it. But everything is gooooooood now!
