• I was foolishly editing my theme and deleted the RSS code for my menu on Autofocus. The site now says Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/waxingly/public_html/wp-content/themes/autofocus/functions.php on line 743

I can’t access my dashboard or anything now and I don’t know what to do

  • Check Line 743, it’s telling you something is wrong on that exact line!

Either that, or paste the contents of your functions.php to pastebin, and copy the link back to this thread.

My theme autofocus is not in any file on my mac. Should I be looking for it somewhere else? I can’t access anything on my site. Sorry if I sound ignorant because I very much am

    Yes,

If it is a website that is accessible via the internet, it should be on a server not on your Mac. You should be able to edit it in your WordPress Admin Panel, Appearance > Editor.

Wow, all I’ll say is wow.

Liam is saying that he can’t get into the WordPress Admin Panel because of the Parse error. I have seen that happen but I don’t know a solution.

Look, if you have FTP Access to your webhost where your WordPress is installed, I can help if I can get a look at the code to the functions.php file.
