accordian not opening

  • I have multiple websites for various standards that have similar content. On one of the sites (r2audit.com) I have an accordian on the home page that doesn’t open, instead it just goes back to the top of the page. (Additionally I have a testimonial slider on that page that is showing up as a list).
    I couldn’t find any errors on the page so finally copied the content of the page from another site that did work (14001audit.net) but ran into the same issue on the r2audit.com site.
    Any idea what could be wrong?

  • Taking a look at the site, I see various HTML coding errors in the accordion content that you should investigate. If you use FireFox and look at the page source, you will see sections marked in red. That’s an indication the browser had to try and fix coding to get the page to display correctly. I also show a JavaScript error being generated, which could speak of a plugin conflict.

    That said, it would be best to post a support request in Avada’s forums, as most volunteers who try to help with the WordPress forums will not have access to commercial products. We can only provide very generalized support with commercial themes. This approach also helps commercial developers better manage their product.

    Thanks so much! I will see what they say. Somehow I must have messed something up when I copied it to the other site. Not sure what I did, but I appreciate your help!!!
