Accordion Blocks with Links

  • I have had problems with adding .pdf files or links to .pdf files in the accordion blocks now that I am using Gutenberg. When I click on the drop-down arrow, it looks great. But when I try to click on a link or a file, it does two things: (1) The file/link does not open; and (2) the dropdown shrinks back up. If you hover over the links, it does not show the preview down in the bottom lefthand corner of the browser (Google Chrome for me).

    On the test page that I’ve provided the link to, I tried adding .pdf files three different ways. The first file was already uploaded to my media, so I clicked the file block and added it that way. The second file, I hyperlinked it using the URL provided in the media folder. The third file, I uploaded it directly from my computer.

    If you have any tips, they would be greatly appreciated. Or if this is a bug, I hope you are able to fix it soon! Thank you in advance!

    Hi @carbow – the accordion isn’t one of the default blocks. Are you using a plugin to add the accordion block to your editor? If so, I’d recommend making a post on the support forum for that plugin.
