    Hi – I have been using Ultimate Member plugin for several months without issue. Everything was working fine till few days ago. Now, all of a sudden, the account activation emails that are sent out to the new user upon registration have stopped (it was working fine sometime back without any issue). Please note that the user is still being created in the database, but the automatic account verification email is not being sent out now. I have to do it manually as an Admin now by Going to Dashboard -> Users – > Resend activation email, and then it works. But the automatic verfication email is not being received by the new user now. I have disabled all the other plugins except Ultimate Member, and am using a WordPress Default Theme (Twenty Fourteen).

    Request you to kindly help me resolve this new issue, which was not present earlier.

    Hi @ambujgarg and @ravenmediallc,

    Have you installed any new plugins recently? e.g security plugins or email via SMTP which reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail()?
    Please try to do a conflict test to rule out theme/plugin conflicts and see if this helps. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test.
    You can try to reset Emails section in Ultimate member -> Settings.

    Thanks for your reply. The issue was with my Server Hosting, which I have changed recently. When I told them about your response, they were able to resolve it by setting proper sendmail path in php.ini and making sure it is recursive in the .htaccess.

    Thank you for the reply. I just wanted to update. I cloned the entire site and created a copy on my server. I turned off all plugins and turned them each back on one at a time and all worked as it should. It appears as though, no surprise here, that it is the server my client is using for their hosting. The error didn’t happen on the hosting provider I use.
