Account connected but Sync does not end

Hello,
We have installed the plugin to integrate Woocommerce and Mailchimp and we have successfully connected/authenticated the Mailchimp account.
Now, however, it seems like the sync with the account is not ending, we have waited for an abnormal amount of time.
In order to test what could be wrong we cloned the website on our server and disabled all plugins except for Woocommerce and Mailchimp for Woocommerce, both in the latest versions. It seems that the sync is still not working.
We noticed that when we inspect the page there seem to be actual statistics that are still on “display: none;” while the sync loading image is visible. Is it possible that the loading has actually finished and some flag wasn’t updated? We cannot re-sync either so we’re not sure how to bypass it.
