Account creation disabled, but guests still creating an account

    Hi
    We are using WC with Events Ticket Plus to sell event tickets and want guests to be able to buy tickets. I have disabled all account creation options and only enabled Allow customers to place orders without an account. However, when we test a guest purchase a subscriber account for the guest is still created in users.

    Okay, if I understand correctly, you want to allow guest users to checkout. Also, there will be no account created during the checkout. Is that right?

    To achieve this you have to configure the wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy like this – https://prnt.sc/10d9sqk.

    If you have similar settings and it still not working as expected, I will recommend deactivating the Events Ticket Plus plugin and all other plugins except WooCommerce. Then only use the default WooCommerce product type during the checkout.

    If you find it working with only WooCommerce then you can get in touch with the plugin developers to get their suggestions on this behavior.

    Coincidentally Events Calendar Plus have just released an update which fixed this issue, just tested it and it was their plugin creating the user.
