    Good afternoon Support team,

The person that started and created our account / web page is no longer with the company and hasn’t been since Early-Mid 2017. She doesn’t recall her credentials and cannot get her to access the account either as that email has been closed.

Our website is completely down and we need it up. What can we do to get our website back ASAP? I have the User name that I can send in emails once support responds.

I started at Tusker as the VP in late 2017 (essentially replacing the original account holder) and now our website has completely crashed for the public side of our business. Please advise what I need to do on my end to verify my position at the company and what are the next steps in account recovery. This way I can get you all the updated information for the account and get our site back online.

    Thank you,

    Trevor

  • You can reset an account password (and username) using a few diferent methods. They are listed here:

So, quickly to be clear, all we do here is develop and support the WordPress software. Each site is fully self-contained, so we have no more access than any normal visitor to the site would, meaning we cannot simply recover login access to the site.

For this, I generally recommend https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/resetting-your-password/#through-phpmyadmin which will walk you through changing the password directly in the database, and you’ll see what the username is along the way.

You’ll find phpMyAdmin in the hosting account’s control panel.

Now, if you don’t have access to the hosting account’s control panel, that’s an even bigger problem. No hosting for the WordPress installation means no WordPress installation which means no site.

For what I can tell, the hosting provider for that domain is GoDaddy, and their support is available via https://www.godaddy.com/help
