Acending – Descending order

    Hi Barry ??
    first of all, GREAT plugin, a really fantastic work ??

    Here the question. I’ve to display posts from past to future.
    So I write: [event_embed from=”2000-10-01″ category=”sport”]
    It works, but i’d want to display them DESCENDING. Is it possible?

    I’ve already tested something like [event_embed from=”2100-10-01″ to=”2000-10-01″ category=”sport”] but doesn’t work…

    Glad to hear it’s been useful ??

    Right now there isn’t really an easy way of doing this, but:

    • You could potentially get something working via the eventrocket_embed_event_args filter hook which lets you modify the shortcode’s query arguments
    • I’ve logged an issue so I don’t forget this as, if possible, I’d like to add a new parameter for this – seems like a good addition to the plugin ??

    I’m actually working on the 2.4 release right now so though I can’t make any guarantees either about including this sort of functionality in that release or when exactly it will be available, I will certainly try hard to make it happen.

    Definitely try again with 2.4 – add order="reverse" to the shortcode ??

    I’m using your plugin a lot, and simply it seems to me the better one for flexibility and easy to use in managing events.
    Next days, I’ll post you the site I’m developing… with Event Rocket!
