    Hi
I am using this plugin for cleaning DB

it recognizes a lot of orphan posts meta which related to ACF.
When I checked them, I confused.
for instance one of them is ‘field_586c214c0078a’
it related to one of my posts. it’s not orphan. however, just for a test, I deleted it. I expected the field has to empty on the post.
but the amount of ‘field_586c214c0078a’ is still there.

My question is, Does ACF make a double table which one of them is recognized as an ‘orphan posts meta’?
Can I delete all orphan posts meta which the database cleaner’s plugin recognized?

    Hi @mohammad983,

    Thank you for contacting me.

Indeed, the plugin may report some ACF fields as orphans even if they are valid. Please make sure that they are really orphans before deleting them. I don’t have enough information about how ACF stores its data, but I think it uses two rows with the same name for each field.

I’m working on a new version of the plugin which will take ACF into account more accurately.

    Best regards,
    Younes
