ACF field update – Edit versus Bulk Edit

    We have a custom post on which there are ACF custom fields.

    One field accidentally got removed from the frontend form – it has now been replaced – and is displayed on the backend, but not on the fronted.

    If we edit the form (without making any changes) – it then displays OK on the front-end.
    But if we use Bulk Edit – it does not.

    What is Edit doing that Bulk Edit is not?
    Is there a solution?
