Hello, I’ve been trying to figure out why ACF fields are not appearing on the post type of Order but appears on the post type of Products. I’ve tried many different things to fix the issue but haven’t found any solutions. I’ve even downloaded to fresh WordPress installations on local by flywheel with only ACF and Woocommerce installed. Unfortunately, I’m still getting the issue.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Its because of woocommerce’s high performance order storage change HPOS. Orders data is now placed in separate tabled other than _posts and _postmeta as explained here https://woo.com/document/high-performance-order-storage/#section-2

They’ve also changed the internal post type for orders which breaks location rules. We’re currently assessing the best way to bring support for HPOS in Woo to ACF.

Thank you so much!!! I haven’t worked with Woocommerce in a little while so I was unaware of the changes. I fixed the issue by adjusting the Woocommerce settings to “WordPress posts storage (legacy)” and after the ACF fields the appeared. If I choose “High-performance order storage (recommended)?” and “Synchronization” as the Woocommerce settings then the ACF fields don’t appear.
