• What happened to this new version ?! the only widget available is calling a form from ACF frontend but we can’t anymore use Elementor to build a form from existing ACF fields ?
do we have to pass under pro version ?!

you can still use existing ACF fields. Simply call them in to the new form builder by adding a new field and changing the field type to ACF Fields

For some unknown reason, on drop down, there is no option “built in widget”. I can only choose existing form from acf frontend. I cannot build a new form using elementor widget
the only option is button “create new form” which redirect to acf frontend interface.

The built in widget option is only available for older installations. If you just installed the plugin, this option no longer exists.

why did you remove it ?! this was much easier than using the form ??

and what’s about upgrade ?! will it remove all forms created untill now ? will we have to recreate everything ?!!

    For innovation purposes.

We have been adding new feature and having two interfaces means we need to maintain two sets of controls and add new setting controls to two separate locations.

What makes the Elementor way easier for you? We are always trying to improve the form builder because it works with any site builder not just Elementor.

By the way, you should know we have been working on making the form builder a visual editor and we should be releasing the beta very soon.

ok but what’s about the form we already created ?! does it mean we will have to rebuild everything ?!!

No it doesn’t mean you will need to recreate all your forms.

Like I said, the build in widget feature is available for older installations.

ok this is a big change. could you please check why the edit button is not present anymore on new installation / not working anymore on older ones ? this is more urgent.
    thx for your help.

The Edit button is still there. Is it not on your end?

the widget edit button is still there, yes, but only on elementor editor. the button disappeard from frontend. I sent you a screenshot on a ticket via your support.

    I totally agree.
I have been following along with WPTuts video on how to setup customer admin pages and the way to do it in Elementor is much simpler than what you have now wich to be honest is a confusing mess.
Can we please have the old simple way to get these admin forms in Elementor like being able to style the fields in Elementor so they appear along side eachother.
The way it is now we have to keep switching between the ACF forms plugin and Elementor, not intuitive at all. This just seems like a huge step backwards.
Oh! and I also had to create the forms whereas they used to be already created.
Can we have the old Elementor UI back PLEASE?

We are looking into this issue.

    @pjharley
We will definitely consider this. I’ll let you know by tomorrow.

Do we have ways to get out of version 6.0 and return to the correct functioning of what was developed by us? it is quite complicated and tedious to have such “non-functionality”. lol…sorry. But out there, having published a previous version can we return to the point where we were before? por favor….
