I need assistance with an issue I’m facing. I have created a custom taxonomy called “Dinner Venue” using ACF for the “page” post type in WordPress. The taxonomy is assigned to pages and appears correctly in the Page section of the WordPress admin.

When I create subcategories under the “Dinner Venue” taxonomy and assign them to specific pages, those pages display the subcategories correctly. For example, when I access a URL like “https://mydomain.com/dinner-venue/city-area/“, it shows the expected output by displaying the pages that have the “city-area” subcategory selected.

However, I’m encountering a problem when trying to access the URL “https://mydomain.com/dinner-venue/“. Instead of displaying the pages associated with the “Dinner Venue” taxonomy, it shows a 404 error page.

I’m using WordPress version 6.2, the Twenty Twenty-Three (2023) theme, and the Gutenberg editor blocks. Additionally, I have created a custom page in the site editor specifically for the “Dinner Venue” taxonomy.

I kindly request assistance to resolve this issue and understand what steps I need to take to ensure that the “Dinner Venue” taxonomy pages are correctly displayed.

    Thank you for your help.
