ACF prefix translated separately

If you can tell me exactly which ACF plugin you are using and how exactly you are creating a text field that contains a prefix, I’ll gladly test to see if there is a way to make this work or if it’s something that we need to look more into.

I think I found a solution to this problem, but I’m not sure if it is what you were looking for.

When you add the information in the Reggisor field for each individual post, you will have to wrap the prefix in a <span></span> element. This will ensure that the prefix will get translated as an individual string and that way you will only have to translate it once. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nBRcaTRrkQZvw6jnGxL7l8-BP3Vr9VJI/view?usp=sharing

For this example I also included the “:”, but that’s not needed. When you try to translate it, you can see that the prefix is now treated as an individual string.

You got the place right in the first picture. You have to add it in the field where you insert the text that will be dynamically used with Elementor.

It is strange that it doesn’t work for you.
Please try to add it like this: <span class=”translation-block”>Reggisor</span>

If that doesn’t work, please try to add it like this: <span class=”translation-block”><span data-context=”regissor”>Reggisor</span></span>

Hello Petter,

No, this solution works with the free version as well.

It is like using the green arrow that combines multiple strings in a single strings but forced through code. It should work properly, but maybe it doesn’t because of the way those dynamic strings are inserted.
