We have an ACF repeater field that has description / link columns that have external links (sources) for a CPT “Projects” on this site — I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to add these fields to be checked. It’s the “Resources” section at the bottom of the linked page.

Are Repeater fields supported? If so, what options / settings should be used to have them searched?

    Hello @tbare

    Hope you’re doing well today!

I am sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing.

Broken Link Checker supports the repeater field from ACF, however, to make sure it is being scanned on BLC Local you will need to add the ACF field key and enable scanning for ACF fields.

You can do this by navigating to BLC (Local) >> Settings >> Look for Links in >> Check the ACF fields and click on configure, here, you will need to list down the “keys” for the ACF fields you want to allow BLC to check. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Further, below is a screenshot of how I’ve configured the repeater field and how you can locate the field key.

Once done, BLC should be able to scan the links from the repeater field.

Hope this helps. In case you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know. We’ll be glad to help you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

That’s how I had it configured (albeit with a few other fields as well). Do I have to do force-recheck after changing those settings?

    Hi @tbare

I hope you are doing well.

For new posts, it would check automatically but if you need to re-scan the previous ones then better to force the re-check, however, if the issue persists please share a screenshot of the ACF configuration and Broken link checker settings so we can double check it.

    Best Regards
