Sorry about the delay in reply.

You should be able to get the version number from your plugins list page. That’ll help determine parts of what may be going on, as I know the 1.4 release had a lot of new work done around submissions and nominations.

The resubmission may rely on the amount of times that the achievement can be earned. Could you confirm what those settings are for the achievement in question?

What method are you using to display the submissions to the users?

WordPress version is 3.9.2, BadgeOS is 1.4.2

The achievement was set to 10 attempts and it didn’t reset upon denial. It is currently set at 1. We don’t want users to earn the same achievement multiple times. Just once.

I can send you a screen shot..

Just tried to set “max earnings” to zero and WP will not save that setting. It defaults back to 1.

Sorry for the delay again. Checking with someone on the intended behavior for this, as I can’t recall offhand. Will get back to you soon.

As I understand the original issue, it sounds like you have 3 different issues at play here.

For the comments part, how are you displaying the submissions? Is it via one of the shortcodes? or is it the permalink to each submission achievement?

For notifications, can you check the BadgeOS Settings page and look at the admin notification settings? The “Send email when submissions/nominations are received:” setting should be set to “Enabled”. if you’ve configured it to deliver email notifications. If that part is setup correctly, can you tell me if you receive other admin email notifications from WordPress?

For the users part, they should have zero restrictions on creating new submissions if their previous submission is not left in a “pending” state AND they have not already earned the achievement the maximum number of times.

She said the shortcodes are working. The email notifications are working. Not sure about admin email notifications.

The zero restrictions is set for creating new submissions if their previous submission is not left in a “pending” state AND they have not already earned the achievement the maximum number of times. That is not resetting, and is a major issue. I would say that is the main problem.

    Thanks for your help here!

Wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten this thread, but still trying to work out the best possible way forward.

If necessary, would you be willing to let me into the site via an admin account? I promise I’ll be careful and not touch any settings without permission.
