Achievements Multisite

    Hi Paul

    I have installed Achievements 3.2.1 on a multisite network and network activated it. Buddypress 1.7 is also installed. I want to reward post writing on the various network blogs. I have set up post and commenting achievements but they only appear to unlock when written on the main blog where they were set and where Buddypress is located. On another test network I have 2.4 installed and it works perfectly there. Any help greatly appreciated.

    I’ll test this over the next week or two (as soon as I get time), and let you know if I can recreate the issue. It might be a simple mistake in the code someplace ??

    Hi Paul

    Thanks for getting back to me but Achievements still doesn’t appear to pick up the posts published on the network sites. I have upgraded to 3.2.3. Still only works on the main site. Any advice very welcome.

    I think this is related to user capabilities not being set on all of the sites on the network (which is what the problem was). Fixed the root issue, but I decided against trying to detect/fix sites that have this problem.

    Does re-enabling the plugin networkwide do anything to fix?

    Hi Paul

    I have deleted, reinstalled and network reactivated but it doesn’t appear to make a difference. I’m not sure I understand the bit about capabilities on all sites or what I need to do to correct it. It appeared to work ok with the Buddypress Achievements version.

    I assume that the other site(s) that the plugin isn’t “listening to” were created before you originally installed the achievements plugin?

    Hi Paul

    You assumed correctly the other sites were created before I installed Achievements. I created a new sight today to see if Achievements would pick up post creation but it still doesn’t. Inspiration?
