Action hook at the end of the 'Name' section in profiles?

  • I’m wondering if I am maybe missing something but I don’t see any hook at the end of the name section in user profiles.

    I’d like to add a special custom field that would just hold an integer, but I would like to do it with a plug-in as opposed to directly adding it.

    I can add to the ‘Profile Section’ with ‘personal_options’ or ‘private_personal_options’, and I can add to contact methods with ‘user_contactmethods’.

    Is there such a hook, or maybe it’s a bad idea?
