    Hi,

There is a release candidate that incorporates the new Amazon javascript changes:

    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/amazon-link.3.2.5-rc3.zip

This has a number of changes, the key one is that the Default Templates on the Templates admin page are now at Version 2 and support the Amazon changes.

You need to go to the Templates page, and find the templates that are out of date (they are highlighted on the Default Template section). Then upgrade the templates that are relevant to your site.

It does not do it automatically, as you might have made your own changes to the templates since they were first installed.

    Hope this helps,

    Paul

This is now part of the latest version of the plugin 3.2.5.

    NOTE:

    Action required! You must:

    1. Go to the Amazon Link > Templates admin page
    2. Open the Default Templates section
    3. For each out of date Template (they are highlighted) that you use, e.g iframe image
    • Open the template and hit the Upgrade button.

This will over write your current in use template with the new default one.

If you have made any changes to the template (e.g. make the frame float left or right, text wrap, etc.) they will be lost!

Alternatively follow the process above but use the Install button this will install another copy of the template with a different name e.g. iframe image1.

Duplicate any changes you made in the new template, test it, then copy the content over your original.

Hi – first: GREAT PLUG-IN: We have only begun to explore the possibilities.

Second – I could have started a separate thread, but this seems also to relate to Amazon changes this year (2015). Should we be concerned that Amazon’s withdrawal of support for many of its widgets will affect your plug-in’s apparent use of the now apparently deprecated Amazon code? I don’t see why it would be in Amazon’s interest to delete their Java scripts, but I don’t see why Amazon deprecated its widgets in the first place.
