Hello, I created a new recipe using Uncanny Automator the trigger is using Gravity Forms submit with a specific field. it’s for register form. I want the user that register then checked the checkbox filed will assign to list fluentCRM called “newsletter”. I have already added actions to FluentCRM to add users to lists. but when I tried to register the user can’t add to the list in FluenCRM. Can you help me?

Hi @testwpapps, sorry to hear about the issue.

I wonder if you could tell us more details about what exactly is failing and how things are set up. Screenshots definitely help, especially of the recipe that’s failing.

    1. Is Gravity Forms creating the user or is Automator?
    2. Is the user being created successfully?
    3. Are you creating a contact in Fluent? Check FluentCRM > Settings > General settings, are you automatically creating contacts when users are created? (This should be enabled to add the user to a list.)
    4. Do the trigger and action logs show things running successfully?

    Thanks!

    Hi @testwpapps ,

Thanks for the additional info. I ran this by one of our developers and this was his feedback:

This is a limitation of FluentCRM; a user can’t be added to a list or tagged unless they’re already added as contacts in the CRM.

So, you’d have to enable the setting in FluentCRM to add newly registered users as contacts for something like this to work.

You can add some of your CRM contacts to a list or tag them based on the gravity form’s checkbox value. However, there’s no way around adding them as contacts to FluentCRM first.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @uncannyowl,

Is this a feature which fluentcrm will add?
I have a similar question and saw this ticket:

I would like to have the ability when signing up the subscriber has to choose a checkbox. For example:
    I am a:
    – student
    – alumni
    – teacher

Which I would like to have as tag/or list as they sign up.
I use Divi and there optin form.

I think its a much wanted feature for many users!

    Hope to hear from you!

    Hi @manonjuliette ,

I’m afraid we don’t have an integration for Divi optin forms, so there’s unfortunately no way to connect those to Fluent.

If you were using another forms plugin and Automator Pro you could use the form field value to set a specific tag for the user, there’s just unfortunately no Divi support right now.

    Thanks!

    Hi @manonjuliette ,

Sorry, what you’re seeing is an option to connect the form to Fluent using an integration that I believe is on the Fluent side. In other words, they’re adding that integration. For Automator to be able to also hook into the form so you could trigger recipes from it, and add tags based on selections, we would need to add our own integration for Divi. I’m afraid right now there isn’t a solution using Automator that supports Divi forms.
