Activate AdSense not working

Folks:

I have sitekit installed on my site and generally working … but I can’t get the adsense functionality re-activated. I’m using Safari on MacOS Big Sur.

I had adsense activated a few days ago, but disabled it to play around with alternatives.

When I try to reactivate it, it goes to the connect service adsense screen and just shows a constantly moving progress bar.

I also seee this error in the javascript console on Safari: Unhandled Promise Rejection: Invariant Violation: a valid url is required to fetch HTML.

I’ve tried the same thing in Chrome, in MacOS, and get the following error & stack trace:

Any suggestions on what needs to be done to activate adsense?
