Daft question time but what does the Activate browser history option do. I see that it is not ticked as default, is there problems associated with it.
SO far I am loving this plug in – thank you Arno, I have only just installed it so will hold off reviewing until I have fully tested it but I have also used responsive image gallery and lightbox and have had an issue with it not working correctly on mobile and received no help. I have also tried foobox but it looks ok on mobile but “childish” on pc and a big ugly loading spinner between images (free version)
Yours looks just what I have been looking for.

This option activates adding parameters in the URL bar of the browser when you open the lightbox and browse the images. These URLs can then used to link to a specific image automatically opening in the lightbox. There is no problem with it – some people just don’t want this so it can be disabled as well.

Unfortunately the last update introduced a bug which prevents the direct link to work, but I’m already working on it to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Ah I get it now. Thanks for getting back so quick.
I am now just testing gallery’s that can give me a justified or masonry view that works well with your light box. I need it for over 100 images so some of the free ones are restricted.
I have tried foo gallery, Justified Gallery, Responsive Lightbox & Gallery. And all have given me issues.

Forgot to mark as resolved. Which my original question was.
