Activate em_event_save with save_post via custom form

Hello guys,

Thanks for your plugin. Hope this finds you well.

I am aware of the forms feature you have included in your plugin. However, currently I am using a plugin called formidable forms pro due to its easy interface and mass post creation via csv upload.

Unfortunately when the forms save the post data it is not copied to the event manager plugin tables ( location/events). I believe this is because em_event_save/em_location_save is not activated.

Is there a correct method for me to apply a hook so that em_event_save runs every time save_post /update_post is activated?

If not is there a function that will allow me to run em_event_save on request with a particular postID argument e.g. em_event_save($post_id). I plan to use that with one of the plugins hooks for actions after form submission.
