Activate Fails

  • I was previously using Adsense Manager, no new ads were displaying. I checked plugin settings and my original ads didn’t even show up as loaded in the plugin, and it wouldn’t allow me to add any. Then I found this plugin to replace and tried to install—it failed. (did not get the notice about deactivating Adsense Manager first). After I found those instructions, I deactivated Adsense Manager and tried again. No dice. Same thing, server just hangs. Because deactivating the old plugin rendered my site useless (nothing loads after first call for an ad), I had to reactive Adsense Manager. So now I’m stuck with a plugin that doesn’t function, old calls for ads that are working, but I can’t make any changes to them or add any new calls for them….and I proposed saving plugin, this one, that won’t activate. Help, please…..

    Side note, I did attempt to delete both plugins and start over. but this one still won’t activate. Perhaps something left hanging out there in the database?

    I have now tried to delete the plugin and am getting the following:

    Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) advertising-manager/advertising-manager.php.

    Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks.
