When I try to activate I get the following error:
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in <site>/wp-content/plugins/ideapush/inc/shortcode/idea-list-items.php on line 396

I’ve had a look at line 396 (getting files for posts), but nothing is jumping out at me. Any idea what might be causing this?

    Hi @kretin,

Can you confirm this occurred when first activating the plugin?

Have you saved the plugin settings yet?

Has this made the error disappear?

    Is anything not working?

Is the error showing on the frontend or the backend? This would likely be showing on the frontend and not backend right?

Backend. I installed the plugin and then clicked the activate button in the Dashboard->Plugins page. The error pops up at the top of the Dashboard->Plugins page.

I am using X-Theme. Plugins include:
    Cornerstone
    Slider Revolution
    bbPress
    BuddyPress
    Contact Form 7
    Akismet Anti-Spam

Just to test, I commented out lines 396-406 which allowed me to activate without error (but I assume isn’t great for the plugin operation)

    Hi @kretin,

Thanks for that confirmation. I have updated the plugin to version 3.17 now. Can you please check for updates and install this and I hoping this error will disappear for you. If it persists please reply back and I will check it out further. Cheers,
