• I installed a fresh wordpress install and the first thing i did was connect jetpack to to my wordpress.com which went fine. Then i tried to activate site management with the activate now button and i get a 500 Internal Server Error. The error is pasted below. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and always get the same error. Please help.

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    It happened to me but refreshing the page while on the 500 error page continued and installed correctly the plugin.
    Have you tried?

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into issues.

    Could you check your server error logs around the time when you experienced the issue, to find out more about the error?

    If you don’t know how to access your server error logs, your hosting provider should be able to help.

    Let me know how it goes.
