    Hi,

first, thanks for the effort you have put in this plugin!

Unfortunately I can’t seem to get it to work. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the new update or WP 4.0. If I remember correctly, I had it working on another site a few month ago.

Today, I made a fresh installation of WordPress 4.0 and Woocommerce 2.2.2 and uploaded the woocommerce-de plugin to my ftp server. I activated the plugin and I got the new Tab “German Translations” on the Woocommerce settings page. But everything is still in english, no matter which settings I choose, e.g. translation loading location “Only admin area” or both, admin and front, informal or formal language, nothing has any effect. It’s like the plugin isn’t working at all, besides adding the settings tab. ??

    Is it just me? ??

My server uses Apache, php 5.3.29 and mysql 5.1.73.

    Thanks,
    Chupsi

    @chupsi:
Hi there, thanks for your feedback!
The issue you’re having is because of changes in WordPress 4.0! Just go to in WP admin left side to: Settings > General, scroll down and change language to German!

If this setting is not there yet, or no “German” / “Deutsch” is there for selecting, then there are no German files yet, then please do a manual download here: https://wpde.org/download/sprachdateien/ –> extract the ZIP and upload files via FTP to: wp-content/languages/

After that change the setting as explained above!

    Hope that helps.

    Have a great day ??
    -Dave.

    HI,

    I have the same issue.
I use the Cherry framework with an Woocommerce template.

When I go to settings and languages, I only have the choice of English.
I tried uploading the files, but there was no map in
    WP-content/languages
    SO I made one…
    But still nothing

Could you please explain a little better how to get this to work?
Will it work on the cherry framework? And should I install the files than in the template or cherry?
    Thanks so much!

    Kiki
