Activated Theme does not look like Sample

  • I’m a bit confused (as most newbies are). I downloaded and activated the Raindrops Theme and (to me) does NOT look like the sample. There aren’t any pictures and the left and right sidebar seem to be misformatted (fonts, info, etc). The one thing that is the same as the demo is the header with all the W’s. I am utilizing GoDaddy as my webserver. I also tried activating another theme from Themify and got as far as the wordpress importer (Tools, Import) and after it “retrieved” the file, the screen to change User and import all files appeared but returned a 550 error after I clicked submit. I should also mention that on the WordPress Import page there is a bunch of trash code randomly at the top of the page above the title (referencing ‘welcome-to-wordpress.php’)

    https://ghosttowngunslingers.com/ shows properly. but https://ghosttowngunslingers.com/acsr/ is http 404 file not found error.

    HTTP 550 ERROR

    HTTP Status Code – 550 Permission Denied
    The server is stating the account you have currently logged in as does not have permission to perform the action you are attempting. You may be trying to upload to the wrong directory or trying to delete a file.

    I’m recommend for troubleshoot themes.

    using default theme twentytwelve or twentythirteen.

    check theme shows properly. then change theme raindrops.

    It becomes easy to carry out the share in question by using these two themes.
