• Hi,
just installed wordpress on a brand new domain via fantastico. Upgraded to 3.5.2 version of wordpress and now can not activate any theme on my site, even twenty eleven. It shows to be activated at appearance > themes, but on my site I still see only the message from the hosting provider.

    Site: https://www.3wlounge.com

Thanks for any suggestions how to fix this as I am newbie to all these.

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

I think your domain is not resolving to your hosting account correctly/yet
I don’t think that this is a WordPress problem. I suggest you to talk to your hosting provider.
