Activating NoCaptcha causes Contact 7 form Text field not to work

  • I’m having an issue where this Google noCaptcha plugin when activated stops the Text field (your name field) from working and the reCaptcha box doesn’t function. It appears but doesn’t allow you to click it. As soon as I deactivate the plugin the Contact Form 7 form works as normal. While the plugin is on I am able to activate or get a cursor in the email and Comments boxes.

    I’m using Contact Form 7 version 4.2.2
    and latest version 4.0.3 of this Google nocaptcha recaptcha plugin.
    My Google API keys are valid as I use it for the theme my login plugin for registrations and it works fine.

    What is the problem here as I need to get this working ?

    Okay so it looks like you can get into the name field but only right after the page loads then it locks you out of clicking on the field for a long time or again if you need to change the value. This is true whether akismet is on our off or if this is a required field or not. This doesn’t work, it shouldn’t scan while you are typing. I do have Akismet enabled so could this be a setting in there blocking spam before users have a chance to enter information ? I am still unable to check the reCAPTCHA box at all. it shows up but won’t let you check it off to go forward with sending the message on the Contact form 7.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated here.

    Forgot to mention that I am using Firefox version 39.0 and IE ver 11 (Windows 7 with updates).

    Has anyone figured this out yet or what could be causing it ?

    Fields are still locked for some reason and I can’t click “I’m not a robot” it looks like its frozen or something is preventing it from being clicked.

    Can you please create a test page and share the link so that the exact problem can be seen.

    Sorry I couldn’t wait any longer, I’ve switched from Contact 7 form and your product to products by BestWebSoft (Contact Form and reCaptcha). The page I was using with your plugin isn’t available any more.

    These new plugins are working perfectly now

    If theres ever a reason I need to return to your product I will contact you should I have this issue again.
