Activating plugin completely breaks front end…

…until configuration is complete. All I get when visiting the site is:

Configuration Required

This plugin requires configuration before use, please configure this plugin using the settings page.

I have not tested whether actually completing the configuration fixes the issue (awaiting the AWS credentials from a team member), but still I thought you’d want to know about this unexpected behavior.
