• I set up a WordPress 5.7.2 multisite subdomain website under PHP 8.0 and added the stats management plugin (with absolutely NO other plugins!) on a fresh website.

I go to activate it and POOF! the admin panel is gone! The main website existed, but all of the administrative functions were completely wiped and the admin pages were totally unavailable.

To delete it and create a fresh version, I actually had to manually delete all the files and subdirectories to reinstall my WordPress website.

I don’t know exactly what happened, but I went through this twice just to be sure.

Might want to test this under PHP 8.0 with multisite WordPress… on a website you don’t care about….
