activating Woocommerce prevents my front page from loading

Can you tell me a bit more about what’s going wrong? What do you see on that front page when you enable WooCommerce?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Three white stripes are loading in the middle of the site.

My homepage can’t be viewed when the plugin is turned on.

Just to make sure – you are referring to the WooCommerce plugin, right?

Also, are you still experiencing the same issue after temporarily switching to the default Twenty Seventeen theme?

Yeah, I’ve posted the status above. switching to another theme doesn’t help as well

When I check the specific page name under ‘a static page’ it can’t be viewed, but when I choose ‘-select-‘, it works. However, nothing of the content I edited before is displayed on the page.

Can you try something for me, please? Create a new page, then change the template to “Homepage” if your theme allows for that.

I can see you’re using the Shopline theme. Each theme tends to work a little differently, so you’ll need to use the Shopline documentation to configure that front page:

When I look at your site, I can see that there’s these 3 white stripes that are “loading” and nothing else happens.

That loading animation is basically a div element that is not going away:

Typically, themes will use JavaScript to conditionally load this and then remove it once the page is fully loaded.

If I look at my browser JavaScript console, I can see there are some errors there:

The errors are coming from this JavaScript file, which is part of your theme:

What I would suggest is reaching out to your theme author to see if they can help you figure out why this file is throwing out JavaScript errors. You can also try this:

1. Disable every plugin except WooCommerce
2. See if your theme has any updates available
3. Switch to a different theme
