I deactivated all plugins and the CapsuleCRM menu item appeared.

So I reactivated all my plugins and deactivated them one by one, and discovered that the plugin Members 0.2.2 by Justin Tadlock was the cause. When it’s active the CapsuleCRM menu doesn’t show up.

Looking under the Users > Roles menu provided by Members I saw that there were several capabilities to do with Gravity Forms that were unchecked. I checked all of them but it didn’t make the CapsuleCRM submenu appear — only deactivating the Members plugin does.

Guessing it’s to do with capabilities of the options page for CapsuleCRM or the sequence of when each plugin triggers its respective actions/hooks.

Ok so even though I’ve deactived Members and I was successfully able to setup the CapsuleCRM plugin settings, I can still not integrate with the latest version of Gravity Forms 1.7.2 because the instructions are not compatible.

There is no “Advanced” tab on the Form Settings in GF 1.7.2 ??
