Activation Error

    I’m really hoping the following error can be resolved as this plugins appears to do everything we need!

    Upon activating the plugin, I receive this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home1/linncou2/public_html/draft/wp-content/plugins/donation-button/includes/class-donation-button-constant-contact-helper.php on line 12

    I also deactivated all plugins (there were not that many) to confirm there wasn’t a conflict.

    Is it possible for you to help? Thanks a million!

    Make sure your website is running PHP 5.3 or later. If your website is running an earlier version they won’t have support for namespaces.

    Please let me know which version you are using?

    The issue actually had to do with some core files not being replaced correctly by the web host’s tech staff. Once they updated the files, activation was no problem. Thanks for the quick reply.
