I’m using the free version of SEO Framework Extension Manager. I need to use Title Fix & Focus but each time I try to activate either one of them I get these error messages:

    1. “Error code: 1071100 — An informative notice should have been placed here for the error code, but the server experienced an error.”

    2. “Error code: -1 — jQ error: Not Found”

    Please help.

    Hi there!

This error can show up if the AJAX response to your web server fails — most likely due to an error on the server. In your case it’s “404 – not found”.

Unfortunately, I noticed that the “about” page (and all others) on your website isn’t functioning either, they all report the same 404 error. This indicates that there’s a WordPress-rewrite issue.

Do you have a security plugin active? If so, deactivate it and see if your “about” page works again. Then, the extensions should be activatable, too. I’d then advise consulting the security plugin’s author for configuration issues.

If you don’t have a security plugin active, or if deactivating it didn’t help, then I suggest contacting your hosting provider to solve the “about” page issue. It’s most likely due to a misconfigured .htaccess rule.

I hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks so much for your speedy reply. I dont have a security plugin but yes I have noticed that the website doesn’t load reliably. I have contacted the hosting provider, hopefully they will help me out.

    Thanks again.

I de-activated a few plugins and it worked. I don’t really know which one was causing the issue but these three are the last plugins I de-activated: Duplicate Page, All-in-One WP Migration & BackupBuddy.

I’m glad you’ve been able to resolve this so quickly!

I do find it strange that reputable plugins clash like this; it could be any combination of the activated plugins or just a single plugin on its own. It’ll take a bit of time finding the culprit through testing the deactivated plugins.

Issues like these aren’t common; so, unfortunately, I can’t provide a proven and permanent fix.
