    Hi Mika,

I have the plugin network enabled and setup Register pages for two subsites with your shortcode on them, as per instructed.

People are able to register on one site but not the other, activation links aren’t being sent out on the bad one.

Do you know why this is happening?

On the bad site, I tried disabling all plugins with no success. Using the Unconfirmed plugin I can see the users are being setup and awaiting activation. But again, there are no activation links being sent out so registration can’t be completed.

What’s the difference between the two sites?

    Plugins? Themes? Setup?

Did you check your email server to see if the mail is being sent at all?

The sites use different templates. But like I said, I disabled all plugins on the bad site to rule out any plugin conflicts. This is the problem site 1010event.org

About the mail servers, good question! I’ve gone through all the network and site settings and can’t find where the email info is configured for the good site. Under site settings it’s blank, yet users are still getting the activation emails from the good site.

I’m under the assumption that there should be a network level email setting and all subsites would have to use that setup since all registrations are at the network level anyway. But I can’t find network email settings anywhere.

Okay, so check with the other theme. Themes impact this stuff too.

When I said check your email server, I really did mean the email server. Not WordPress. Not a WP setting. Emails from wp are sent from [email protected] so you’d want to check on the mailserver to see if they’re being sent.

Also you may want to try turning on WP_DEBUG and see if anything pops up.

I know what you were saying but after checking with my server I realized I had never setup an email account through the cpanel so I wondered how any emails were being sent.

How do I check my themes?

Easy check? Switch to a different theme, see what it does.
