    Just a question.
I’m profiled to my website as an Editor and never had problem in installing and activating plugins.
With Nextgen Gallery plugin I’m not allowed to activate it.
The problem occour when trying to acces at this page url:
    https://www.diegomartinelli.it/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nextgen-gallery

and thi is the message shown
You do not have permission to access this page.

According to you is a problem of profiling and I have to ask to the administrator of the site to activate the plugin and then I’ll be able to work with it or there is something different to consider?

Thank you for your time guys

@diegomartinelliit – NextGEN Gallery does have an option set related to roles and capabilities; if your role (as Editor) does not work or has stopped working as expected then you may need to have an administrator review those rules under Gallery > Other Options > Roles and Capabilities to ensure “Editors” can accomplish what you are trying to do.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
