I am mainly interested in making tours of outdoor nature preserves. iPanorama is working well for this.
I do have a question, or wish, that is maybe a little out there. Since the scenes are moving around, someone looking at it may be confused by the direction it is showing at any particular time.
The “Static Button” question earlier got me wondering… I have put in a “Compass Rose” to show North, (not a static button) and am thinking about putting in the other directions also, but (you just know there is always a “But” coming.) Would it be possible to put in an “active” compass that is in a static position? So like in online maps, when you are moving around there is a small direction indicator that shows the current heading.
First I guess, is the picture “directionally aware”? Not so much as actually knowing which way is North, but from a specific point? If I put in a “shape” and adjust it to point to North (0° or 360°) and fix my initial view to that, would it be able to tell the degrees it has rotated?
    Would be pretty cool feature!
    Thanks! Kaz

The current version doesn’t support this feature, but it can be implemented.
