I am using ElementsKit one page scroll with “Sticky Header Effects for Elementor” plguin. I am facing an issue that when I set active color in elementor, it applies that to all only page scroll menu items. How can I set so when I click on a menu item, only that menu item highlight in navigation?

    Hi @webgirish,

Thanks for reaching out to us. I’ve checked your site, it seems alright. Only the active nav is changing the color, not all navigation (screenshot). If you change the color for the active nav, it’ll appear on the active nav only. Make sure that there is no other color selected from your Theme or custom CSS end.

Hi, Didn’t heard anything from you so I have done that through custom JS and CSS. I have added “active class in <a tag through custom JS. But One page scroll doesn’t have that. If you inspect the code, you can see that “current-menu-item” “current_page_item” classes are showing for all 4 menu items and if we set active color in elementor then it will apply for all 4 menus together. If you can guide me solution to make the link active only for that section then I will remove the custom js and css as extra code make extra burden on the page.

    Hi @webgirish,

Yes, you are right. In terms of One-page scrolling settings, the Nav Menu Hover color is working as an Active color. As a workaround solution, you can use the Hover color instead of extra code. I’m forwarding the issue to the Development team for further investigation. Hope it will be solved in our next plugin releases.

    Kind Regards

    Arif
